Marseille most internationally integrated MAST ever

Last week’s MAST Europe conference and exhibition is officially one of the most international in the event’s history.

Coming from ever corner of the world, visitors/delegates represented Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, China, Denmark, Egypt, England, Finland, France, Germany, Gambia, Ghana, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Morocco, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Wales, United Arab Emirates, United States, and Ukraine.

Whilst delegate numbers were lower than normal, more evident was the increased in integration between attendees (aided by longer networking breaks, and a slight increase in visitor numbers).

Certainly there was a more relaxed, buoyant atmosphere, signalling a return to form for future MAST’s

…and with the next edition of MAST co-located with the Association of Old Crows annual meeting, greater visitor numbers/networking and an exciting interface with the Electronic Warfare community is guaranteed.

New exhibition features such as Product Briefings were extremely popular, as were the daily FREE prize draws for the very latest Android/Google Honeycomb tablets.

Suggestions for new event features are always welcome, and can be made directly to warren.edge@mastevents.com

MAST Americas Call for Papers now live

Following this week's meetings in Marseille (I know.. tough life!) the Committee have all but finalised the conference call for papers...

The overarching theme has yet to be agreed, but essentially the next MAST Americas will develop the themes and discussions from the first MAST Americas, and the committee are actively seeking contributions from South American companies, navies and coast guards.

Watch this space, but it could add a really exciting dimension to the debates onsite.

Prospective authors can upload abstracts now.
